Every spot is for sale.

FAQ

What is openfame.app?

A resellable attention market: 100 ranked spots, each always for sale at a price its owner sets; when you're outsold, you get paid; one no-refund line on top, the Throne.

Is this gambling?

No. You buy a ranked spot for a link, at a price someone wrote on it, and you choose the price anyone must pay to take it from you. There is no chance, no draw and no prize pool. The Throne is a paid ranking: the highest payer holds the line until someone pays more.

How is it different from outbid.lol?

On outbid the price only rises and the money goes to the house. Here every spot is resellable: when someone outsells you, 97% of the price goes to you. The Throne, our one no-refund line, keeps the thrill; the board keeps the money moving between people.

What happens when I get outsold?

You receive 97% of the price you set, paid to your bank through Stripe with a 7-day delay. You get an email and a share card, and the spots near your former rank are one click away.

What does a spot cost to keep?

1% of its displayed price per day, charged every 3 days ($1 minimum). A higher price costs more to hold and pays more when you're outsold. That is the whole game.

Can I set any price?

Between $5 and 20 times what you paid, $25,000 at most. Lower it anytime for free; raising it starts a new paid period.

Why "no refunds" on the Throne?

Because the Throne is a public auction for one line, not a purchase of a good. You consent to it before paying. The board is where you get paid back.

Who sees my clicks?

Everyone: the board shows clicks over 7 days and the price per click on every line. Clicks are counted once per visitor per hour; known bots are excluded.

Can I buy a spot for someone else?

Yes: gift a spot to an X account. They can claim it (it becomes theirs) or refuse (the link is removed). The house never tags anyone.

Do you need my X account?

Only to sign in: a public handle is the identity here. We never post for you; share cards open X's own composer.

Where are the rules enforced?

In a canister on the Internet Computer: it prices, records and keeps the public journal. Money moves through Stripe. The relay only authenticates and orchestrates.

Roadmap: activity points in v1 · rail for agents announced for v2 · a community token under study, no date, no promise.
